Westfield June 21,1838
Dear Henry;
I send you herewith our “Office
Expense Account” with items in detail;
together with such few bills or vouchers
of moment, as were at hand.
Doubtless there are other vouchers; but
Bradley you know never distinguished
between a bill and a letter. I cannot
at the moment single them out from
the mass of letters & papers he has
filed away.
From the anxiety you showed to
have this extended account at an early
day, I have supposed it necessary
to send you a copy as soon as possible:
& therefore give you the rough prepa-
ration, without stopping to improve or
transcribe it: This must be my apol-
