Susan R. Coxe was the second wife of Richard S. Coxe, a Washington lawyer. Mrs. R. S. Coxe is also listed as the First Directress of the Washington City Orphan Asylum in 1862. On January 23, 1851, Susan R. Coxe accepts an invitation extended by FMS and WHS.
