Biographical Information
Satterlee Warden was the son of Allen Warden and Sallie Warden. He married Harriet Eliza Randall on July 19, 1837. He was the brother of Ethan Allen Warden.,He entered into a milling business partnership with his brother-in-law A.D. Leonard in Auburn, N.Y. In 1837 or 1838 he moved to Montgomery County, Tennessee, where he constructed the first grist mill in that state. In 1857 he moved back to New York State, then West to Darlington, Wisconsin. In 1876 he went to Kansas, and later became the Vice President of the First National Bank of Frankfort, Kansas.
